These are my radish earrings for my Luna Lovegood costume for the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premier! The rest of my costume didn’t work out so well, (I do NOT look good blond) although my dress was cool. Anyway I figured since I couldn’t find something that looked like an orange radish, a normal radish would work just fine.

I made these cupcakes for the Harry Potter Deathly Hallows Part 2 midnight premier which I went to after the U2 360 concert!! (Best night of my life.) And look! It’s the deathly hallows sign and lightning bolts! I was so proud of those cupcakes and guess what? The security guard confiscated them and told us we couldn’t bring them into the theater. She also confiscated our role of toilet paper. She couldn’t comprehend that I had to bring it because I was out of tissues. She asked me why I would need tissues in the first place and I asked her if she knew how many people were going to die. She obviously wasn’t a fan so we shoved a couple cupcakes down our throats and offered them to some fellow fans who were hanging around. She also may have thought I was on something because I was dressed as Luna Lovegood and my wig was going all over the place and I was wearing glasses covered in nail polish (which is not translucent by the way) and my earrings were made out of real radishes. I’ll put up a pic of those later. Sorry this pic is so blurry!

I have always loved this picture. Something about it screams sentimental past. Sometimes it’s hard to let go, but I’m glad I did and it was great while it lasted. Regardless though, I love this quote and this picture.
